Bernie Sanders Promises to Reveal the Truth About Aliens on Joe Rogan Podcast

Sen. Bernie Sanders appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast this week to discuss his run for the Democratic presidential nomination, among other things. During the interview, Sanders revealed that if elected president he would inform the world if the U.S. government possessed evidence of the existence of extraterrestrials.

Rogan asked Sanders:

If you got into the office and you found out something about aliens, if you found out something about UFOs, would you let us know?”

Sanders responded by saying that his wife once asked him the same question, and he promised to tell her the truth if he ever found out.

“Well I tell you, my wife would demand that I let you know,” Sanders said.

Rogan then asked, “Is your wife a UFO nut?”

Sanders explained that she was just curious:

“No, she’s not a UFO nut. She goes, ‘Bernie, what is going on, do you know? Do you have any access?’

Rogan pushed further to ask if Sanders had heard anything about aliens during his long career in politics, asking if Sanders has “any access.”

“I don’t. Honestly, I don’t,” Sanders said laughing.

“You’ll let us know though?” Rogan asked.

Sanders said that he would make the announcement on Rogan’s podcast if he ever gets the news:

“Alright, I’ll be on the show, we’ll announce it on the show. How’s that?”

Sanders is now the second Democratic candidate to say they would release information about aliens if they are elected—if that information in fact exists.

Last month, entrepreneur and presidential candidate Andrew Yang promised to tell the public about whatever is being hidden at the secret government site Area 51. Yang made his statements in response to a viral campaign to “Storm Area 51” which gathered over 2 million supporters on Facebook.

At this point, it is unclear whether or not the president actually has access to this type of information, considering that Trump would likely have a hard time keeping such things a secret.

Regardless, it is a positive development that such radical transparency is actually becoming a campaign issue. Far too many things have been kept from the public for far too long.
