Stephen Hawking, a well-known scientist, wrote an article two weeks before he died that talked about parallel universes and the end of our own.

Hawking and co-author Thomas Hertog put their findings in a book called “A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation.” In it, they explain how scientists might also be able to use spaceships to find other universes. Hertog says that Hawking finished the work while he was on his deathbed, leaving behind a legacy that deserves the Nobel Prize.

“He was nominated for the Nobel Prize many times and should have won it. Now he’ll never be able to,” he told the Sunday Times.

Hawking uses the “no boundary theory” that he and physicist James Hartle came up with to explain how quickly the Earth formed after the Big Bang. His view is that the Big Bang was followed by several “Big Bangs,” which made more than one world.
Even though it is thought to be impossible to measure the multiverse, Hawking’s last study looked at how a spaceship-borne probe could be used to find these worlds. (Elon Musk should be told.)

Hertog said that Hawking wrote the article because he and he want to give a “testable scientific framework” for the idea of the multiverse. The inflation theory, which says that the universe grew exponentially after the Big Bang and then grew more slowly after that, is still not able to be tested. But Hawking’s last book gives a theory that can be tested, which is a huge step forward in how the idea of the multiverse can be thought of.

But Hawking’s prediction of the end of the universe is likely the part of his work that has caused the most debate. Hawking said that in the end, this universe would fade into darkness, just like a star loses energy. Some cosmologists don’t like the theory, and other cosmologists have mixed feelings about it.

Even so, Hawking never stopped telling people that the end of the universe was coming. Hawking gave a speech at the Starmus Festival in June in which he urged people to find a way to leave Earth before it’s too late.

Hawking said, “We are running out of room, and the only place we can go is to other worlds.” “It’s time to start learning about other solar systems. Spreading out might be the only way to save ourselves.”
